Vision diagnostics

Regular eye examinations help detect various eye conditions that can lead to serious complications, including blindness. These conditions include: Nearsightedness (myopia) – a condition in which a person can see clearly at close range but has difficulty seeing objects in the distance. Farsightedness (hyperopia) – the opposite condition, in which near vision is impaired. Astigmatism – an irregular shape of the cornea or lens that causes distorted vision. Cataract – clouding of the lens that reduces visual acuity. Glaucoma – a group of conditions that damage the optic nerve and may lead to complete loss of vision.
